Reporting To: Finance Manager / Head of Finance

Role Overview

We are looking for a CA-qualified Assistant Manager – Finance with strong exposure in Accounts Receivable, global finance operations, MIS, taxation, and hands-on experience in FP&A and budgeting. The role requires ensuring timely collections, accurate financial planning, and on-time payments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Collections

Manage end-to-end AR cycle: invoicing, tracking, and reconciliation.

Ensure timely collections across regions.

Maintain AR ageing, and drive collection efficiency.

Work closely with business teams to resolve client queries and disputes.

  1. Payment Management (On-Time Payouts)

Ensure vendor, employee, and operational payments are processed on time.

Review and verify supporting documents, approvals, and payment batches.

Support AP team in avoiding delays and ensuring cash flow discipline.

  1. FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)

Assist in preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial models.

Perform revenue planning, cost analysis, and profitability tracking.

Conduct variance analysis vs budget and provide insights to management.

Support strategic decision-making with data-backed financial insights.

  1. MIS & Financial Reporting

Prepare accurate monthly MIS, financial statements, and business performance reports.

Create dashboards, trend analysis, and presentation summaries.

Ensure timely reporting for domestic and global entities.

  1. Global Finance Operations

Handle multi-country accounting, intercompany entries, and reconciliations.

Work closely with global teams, auditors, and compliance partners.

Ensure adherence to international accounting standards.

  1. Taxation (Direct & Indirect)

Manage GST, TDS, corporate tax workings, filings, and reconciliations.

Support tax assessments, notices, and documentation requirements.

  1. Accounts Finalization & Audits

Support monthly and annual closing activities.

Prepare audit schedules and handle statutory, internal, and tax audits.

  1. Process Improvement & Controls

Strengthen financial controls across AR, AP, FP&A, and reporting.

Identify and implement automation or workflow improvements.

Key Skills & Competencies

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.

Strong AR and collection management experience.

Solid FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling skills.

Experience with global finance, MIS, and taxation.

Advanced Excel; knowledge of BI tools is a plus.

Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management.

Ability to work under tight timelines with accuracy and ownership.
