Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Finance will provide crucial financial management support specific to transportation projects and operations. This role involves budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and auditing tasks to ensure compliance and financial efficiency across our transport sector consultancy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements, budgets, and forecasts related to transportation projects.
  • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of payments.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance for transportation finance activities.
  • Monitor project financial performance and report variances or risks to senior management.
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity for operational and project-related expenses.
  • Coordinate with auditors and government authorities regarding financial compliance.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance staff within the organization.
  • Prepare comprehensive project-wise financial reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CA, CMA) preferred.
  • Minimum 3-10 years of experience in finance, preferably in the transportation or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing.
  • Proficiency with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
