Duties and Responsibilities

Test Automation Lead(Senior Consultant/Manager):

  • Contribute to overall test automation strategy, selecting appropriate tools, frameworks, and technologies.

  • Lead the implementation of test automation solutions for web, mobile, API, and backend systems.

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to the test automation teams and other stakeholders.

  • Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure seamless integration of test automation into the development pipeline.

  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable test automation code.

  • Evaluate, select, and integrate the best-suited test automation tools and technologies for the project or organization.

  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage, focusing on key user flows, critical business functions, and potential failure points.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and immediate feedback on build quality.

  • Mentor and guide junior test automation engineers, helping them improve their technical skills and understanding of test automation architecture.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting knowledge sharing, training, and adoption of best practices across teams.

  • Develop automated monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track test execution, failures, and quality metrics.

  • Provide stakeholders with regular reports on the health and effectiveness of the automated testing process.

  • Articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
