Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead – Manual Testing with over 10 years of expertise in quality assurance, test planning, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end QA activities, ensuring delivery excellence, and embedding quality practices across multiple projects. This role demands a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring capabilities to uplift the QA function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases aligned with project requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead QA efforts across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.
  • Conduct a wide range of testing types including functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and performance testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends or recurring issues, and prepare detailed reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor, guide, and review the work of junior QA engineers, fostering professional growth and adherence to testing best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and project leads to ensure quality is integrated throughout the SDLC.
  • Participate in requirement, design, and code reviews to offer QA insights and proactively identify risks.
  • Manage and prioritize testing activities across multiple sprints or projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure all QA activities are performed in line with defined processes, standards, and compliance frameworks.
  • Drive and facilitate defect triage meetings, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in software testing, with at least above 5 years in a lead or senior QA role.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and test strategy development.
  • Expertise in test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM.
  • Hands-on experience in test estimation, planning, and reporting metrics.
  • Solid understanding of SQL for data validation and backend verification.
  • Working knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate QA teams, manage priorities, and deliver quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
