Role: QA Manual Test Lead – SharePoint is mandatory

Experience: 5 – 7 years

Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the end-to-end quality assurance strategy for SharePoint-based web

applications, including custom SPFx components, site collections, workflows, and

integrations.

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, maintainable Selenium automation frameworks

tailored for SharePoint UI validation and workflow testing.

  • Create and execute automated test scripts covering custom forms, document libraries, list

functionalities, permission models, and SharePoint Online customizations.

  • Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous

testing during build and release cycles.

  • Perform API testing and backend validations using SharePoint REST APIs and PnP

PowerShell/JS, ensuring backend logic, provisioning, and metadata operations function as

intended.

  • Test and validate Power Platform components, especially Power Automate flows integrated

with SharePoint, ensuring workflows execute correctly and handle exceptions.

  • Design and execute performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, Azure Load

Testing, or Lighthouse, focusing on page load times, large list handling, search

responsiveness, and SharePoint Online throttling behavior.

  • Drive cross-browser and responsive testing across modern browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox,

Safari) to ensure a consistent user experience for all users.

  • Implement and verify accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 / ADA) using tools like Axe, Wave,

and Lighthouse, ensuring SharePoint components are inclusive and usable for all users.

  • Document detailed test strategies, test cases, execution reports, and defect logs aligned to

SharePoint's architecture and business requirements.

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers in Agile teams to

ensure shared ownership of quality, early validation, and faster feedback loops.

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning,

and release discussions from a QA perspective.

  • Mentor junior QA engineers on SharePoint testing best practices, automation strategies, and

tool usage, building a high-performing QA practice.
