Role description

Overview We are seeking a meticulous and technically adept Data QA Associate to support the validation and reconciliation of data as part of a Compass-led Dynamics 365 migration. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and functional integrity of configuration and transactional data across legacy and target environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Validate configuration data (e.g., tax codes, currencies, parameters) loaded into Dynamics 365 for completeness and accuracy

  • Reconcile migrated master and transactional data between legacy systems and Dynamics 365 using SQL, Excel, and Compass QA templates

  • Execute test cases to confirm field-level mappings, referential integrity, and business rule compliance

  • Support functional QA by validating workflows (e.g., invoicing, order processing) using test data in Dynamics 365

  • Document findings, raise defects, and collaborate with data migration and functional teams to resolve issues

  • Participate in cutover rehearsals and go-live readiness checks, including final data sign-off

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of data validation and reconciliation techniques

  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis and comparison

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations or Business Central)

  • Experience with Compass QA templates or similar structured migration validation frameworks

  • Ability to interpret data mappings, transformation rules, and business logic

  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in ERP migration projects (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)

  • Exposure to Compass methodology or similar structured migration programs

  • Knowledge of data governance and audit controls

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Success Metrics

  • Timely and accurate validation of migrated data

  • Reduction in post-migration data defects

  • Clear documentation of QA findings and resolution paths

  • Contribution to go-live readiness and stakeholder confidence
