About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced 
Lead QA Automation Engineer
 who can drive the vision of 
AI-powered Quality Assurance
 across our product suite. This role blends deep expertise in test automation frameworks with the ability to leverage 
AI tools
 (like ChatGPT, Testim, Mabl, Katalon, or custom LLM-based testing agents) to accelerate testing efficiency, improve test coverage, and reduce manual QA efforts.

You will lead a small but high-performing QA team and work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to build a fully automated, self-healing test ecosystem that scales with our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Architect QA Automation Frameworks:
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium) integrated with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • AI-Powered Test Automation:
  • Integrate or build AI-driven testing solutions using tools like 

    , Mabl, Functionize, TestSigma
    , or 
    custom AI agents using OpenAI / Vertex AI
     for:
  • Intelligent test case generation and prioritization
  • Auto-healing test scripts
  • Predictive defect detection
  • Automated exploratory testing
  • Data-Driven QA:
  • Leverage analytics, BigQuery, or Looker dashboards to derive insights on test effectiveness, flakiness, and coverage gaps.
  • Test Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive test plans for new features and regression cycles. Implement best practices for test documentation, versioning, and reporting.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Lead a team of automation and manual QA engineers, define career growth plans, and conduct code and test reviews.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure quality gates are embedded early in the SDLC (Shift-Left Testing).
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Research and introduce emerging AI/ML tools that improve test coverage, speed, and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6 to 10 years of total QA experience, with at least 
    3 years in QA automation leadership
    .
  • Strong command of 
    Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
     for web; 
    Appium
     for mobile testing.
  • Proficiency in 
    Python / JavaScript / Java
     for writing test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with 
    CI/CD pipelines
     and 
    Cloud infrastructure
     (GCP / AWS / Azure).
  • Exposure to 
    AI-based test automation tools
     (e.g., Testim, Mabl, Functionize, TestSigma, Applitools).
  • Understanding of 
    LLM-based tools or prompt-driven test automation
     (e.g., ChatGPT, Codium, GitHub Copilot).
  • Familiarity with 
    API testing
     (Postman, REST Assured, Karate) and 
    performance testing
     (JMeter, k6).
  • Strong knowledge of 
    SDLC
    , 
    Agile
    , and 
    DevOps QA practices
    .
