Job Description:

AI Infotech is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The role involves building, executing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web and API testing, while working closely with our on-shore client in the USA. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in automation tools and a passion for delivering high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java, Selenium, Playwright, Karate.
  • Perform API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.
  • Execute functional, regression, and integration testing for web applications and APIs.
  • Maintain test coverage to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand-ups within Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Identify, report, and track defects; work with teams for timely resolution.
  • Continuously enhance automation frameworks and optimize test execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in QA automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and automation frameworks like API Testing, Playwright, Karate.
  • Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger).
  • Familiarity with Core Java is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
