Job Summary
The Commi 1 will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen and assisting with training and direction for kitchen staff. They will have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in working with restaurants or hotels and hold a degree in Hotel Management or a related field. A strong knowledge of local, state, and federal food sanitation regulations is required. Additionally, they must be skilled in Indian/Continental/Pizza & Pantry/Tandoor/Asian + Dim sum cuisines.
Key Responsibilities- Report to Head Chef and manage kitchen staff in their absence
- Ensure kitchen is according to company's operational and financial standards
- Exceed guest expectations while maintaining PAP standards
- Assist Sous Chef in training staff for production according to company kitchen standards
- Manage inventory and food production planning on a daily basis
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI standards and daily preparation of Mize N Place
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods in their respective cuisine, with cooking temperatures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Pune, Maharashtra
