Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Sales Engineer specializing in Fire Safety and Security systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in fire detection, alarm systems, access control, CCTV, and other security solutions, coupled with strong sales abilities. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, demonstrating our advanced safety and security products, and driving sales growth through technical consultation and support.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions.

· Present and demonstrate products or services to prospective clients, highlighting technical features and benefits.

· Provide pre-sales technical support and product education to potential customers.

· Conduct technical needs analysis and prepare proposals and quotations.

· Assist in the development of technical sales strategies and forecasts.

· Coordinate with product development and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and technical requirements.

· Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.

· Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and advancements in technology.

· Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

· Proven experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role.

· Strong technical background with the ability to understand and explain complex products/services.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients.

· Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach.

· Willingness to travel as needed.

· Preferred Skills:

· Experience in [industry-specific technologies or products].

· Knowledge of CRM and sales tools.

· Certification in relevant technical fields or sales methodologies.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field.

· 2 years of Proven experience in sales engineering within fire safety and security systems.

· Strong understanding of fire detection, alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and related security technologies.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to interpret technical drawings, standards, and regulations.

· Customer-focused with problem-solving skills.

· Willingness to travel regionally or nationally as required.

Preferred Skills:

· Certifications such as NICET, NFPA, or manufacturer-specific training.

· Knowledge of local fire and security standards and compliance requirements.

· Experience with CAD or system design software and Advance Excel.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
