CENTA is the world's largest end-to-end professional development platform for teachers supporting close to
2 million teachers in certification, training, and career growth from 7,000 locations in India and from 176 countries
(mainly The Philippines, Nigeria, Ghana, UAE, UK, etc.). Thousands of private schools, several ed techs and 19 government bodies use CENTA in recruiting, promotions, teacher rewards and so on. These opportunities motivate teachers, at scale, to continuously improve their competencies and be more effective – therefore leading to fundamental, market-driven change in the quality of education. CENTA's founder and senior leaders come from IIT, IIM and other strong backgrounds, and bring rich global industry experience.
CENTA works on several projects with a range of clients and partners across large institutions, corporates, and government bodies.
The Associate, Large Partnerships will be responsible for supporting the acquisition, management, and growth of such strategic, high-value partnerships, and other key stakeholders
. Future growth potential in the role includes opportunities to build specific business lines, establish CENTA's presence in specific countries and to have a career path towards more senior roles.
Roles and Responsibilities
:
1) Partnership Acquisition & Development
- Support the identification, research, and outreach to prospective partners.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to partner needs.
- Prepare proposals, MoUs, and partnership agreements.
- Track partnership leads, ensuring timely responses and engagement.
- Maintain a repository of relevant templates, case studies, and marketing collateral.
- Collate market and partner intelligence to strengthen proposals
2) Relationship Management
- Act as the point of contact for partners, ensuring smooth issue resolution.
- Build rapport with partner stakeholders and understand their objectives and challenges.
- Maintain regular partner engagement to enable renewal, upselling, or expansion.
- Track partnership performance against agreed KPIs and prepare periodic reports
3) Execution & Coordination
- Work with internal teams (marketing, product, operations, etc.) to ensure delivery.
- Monitor progress on partnership commitments and ensure timelines are met.
- Coordinate partner onboarding, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field; Masters degree preferable.
- 2–5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or account management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong client service, with high integrity at every step.
- Expertise and interest in researching and creating powerful presentations and proposals.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage timelines effectively.
- Drive, proactiveness and entrepreneurial orientation to pursue rapid growth.
- Highly comfortable with use of common technology for work, especially Google suite (Sheets, Docs, etc) and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point), Canva, etc.
