Role Overview:

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growthby identifying, onboarding, and managing coaching classes focused on NEET and JEE preparation. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, solution-based selling, competitor analysis, and customer engagement, with a strong focus on expanding the customer base and achieving sales targets across Mumbai and Pune.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Hunting:

Identify and acquire NEET & JEE coaching classes across Mumbai and Pune.

Build strong relationships with decision-makers at coaching institutes.

Sales Generation & Revenue Growth:

Provide customized sales solutions to meet client needs.

Drive new business and upsell to existing clients to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Customer Base Expansion:

Expand reach by targeting both new and previously onboarded coaching centers.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Field Sales Execution:

Travel extensively within Mumbai and Pune to execute field sales strategies.

Support client servicing, relationship building, and post-sales support.

Competitor Analysis:

Monitor and analyze competitors' products, pricing, and strategies.

Use market intelligence to refine sales approach and product positioning.

Strategy & Reporting:

Develop and implement segment-specific sales strategies in alignment with business goals.

Provide regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related

field.

Experience: 6–9 years in sales, business development, or educational services, preferably

with exposure to coaching/classroom solutions.

Industry Preference: Education, EdTech, Publications, or similar domains.

Desirable Skills:

Proven experience in B2B or institutional sales.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

High initiative and ability to work independently on the field.

Familiarity with the NEET/JEE ecosystem is a plus.

Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Willingness to travel regularly between Mumbai and Pune.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹65, ₹75,000.00 per month
