Business Development Executive

Position Overview:The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, coordinating with clients and government departments, and ensuring smooth submission of technical and financial documents including DPRs (Detailed Project Reports), CMA data, and related statutory documentation. The role involves close collaboration with design, finance, and execution teams to ensure timely project acquisition and compliance.
- Key Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities in solar EPC and KUSUM-A projects.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, and tenders.
- Prepare and submit DPR (Detailed Project Reports), CMA (Credit Monitoring Arrangement) data, and related technical/financial documents to relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Finance, Legal, Execution) for document collection, validation, and submission.
- Assist in tender preparation, bid submission, and follow-up with DISCOMs, MNRE, and other government agencies.
- Maintain trackers for project leads, submissions, and approvals.
- Build and maintain relationships with channel partners, farmers, and government officials.
- Support preparation of commercial offers, proposals, work orders, and agreements as required.
- Follow up with clients and departments to ensure smooth approval and project handover processes.
- Contribute to marketing activities, presentations, and outreach campaigns.
- Preferred Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in solar business development or EPC tendering (Freshers with strong skills may also apply).
- Good understanding of DPR/CMA documentation processes.
- Familiarity with KUSUM scheme guidelines and state DISCOM procedures is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills in English and Hindi.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management.
- Strong coordination, multitasking, and follow-up abilities.
