Temple Onboarding Manager - Utsav (Online Puja App)

The Role: Temple Onboarding Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven, and culturally sensitive Temple Onboarding Manager. This is a critical, front-facing role responsible for securing new temple partnerships and ensuring their seamless integration onto the Utsav app. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping temple management committees realize the potential of digital transformation for growth, outreach, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Acquisition & B2B Sales (40%):
- Identify, prospect, and engage with high-potential temples across various regions of India.
- Utilize proven B2B sales methodologies to manage the pipeline, articulate Utsav's Return on Investment (ROI), and negotiate commercial terms successfully.
- Conduct compelling, culturally sensitive presentations to key temple stakeholders (Trustees, Managing Committees, etc.).
- Ecosystem Integration & Onboarding (40%):
- Lead the entire onboarding project from agreement to "go-live," acting as the primary project manager.
- Manage the configuration of digital services, including digitizing puja lists, configuring donation mechanisms, and setting up booking systems on the Utsav platform.
- Ensure all data collected and integrated is accurate, respectful of local traditions, and compliant with temple governance.
- Stakeholder Training & Management (20%):
- Provide comprehensive training to temple personnel, including Pandits/Pujaris and administrative staff, on using the Utsav Partner Dashboard for managing online orders, inventory, and analytics.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the temple and Utsav's internal Tech, Content, and Operations teams during the initial launch phase.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of proven success in B2B sales, account management, or marketplace onboarding, preferably in the SaaS or E-commerce industries.
- Domain Awareness (Essential): Strong foundational knowledge of the Hindu temple ecosystem. This includes a clear understanding of the roles and hierarchy of Temple Trustees, Managing Committees, Pandits/Pujaris, and the dynamics of temple operations and revenue streams.
- Cultural Acumen: A deep and demonstrated respect for temple traditions, rituals, and etiquette. Proven ability to build trust and rapport quickly with high-level community/religious leaders.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written proficiency in English and strong working proficiency in at least one key regional Indian language (e.g., Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, or Gujarati).
- Technical Aptitude: Comfort in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the ability to clearly explain digital solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel: Willingness to undertake frequent and sometimes extensive travel (estimated 50-70% of the time) across India to meet with temple authorities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
