The Assistant Manager End User Support & Microsoft 365 Security will be responsible for managing the end-user support team and ensuring secure, efficient operations of the Microsoft 365 environment. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Office 365 administration, Intune, Conditional Access, and overall security posture management for endpoints and users. The individual will act as the key technical lead for implementing and maintaining secure access controls, compliance policies, and modern device management practices, while ensuring seamless end-user experience and high service quality.

Key Responsibilities

End User Support Management

  • Lead and mentor the End User Support team (L1/L2 engineers).
  • Oversee daily IT support operations — incident resolution, asset management, ticket SLA adherence, and user satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely response and resolution for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets, peripherals, and licenses.
  • Prepare periodic performance and incident reports for management review.

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Manage the Microsoft 365 environment including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.
  • Create, manage, and audit user accounts, licenses, and groups.
  • Oversee security configurations, mailbox policies, and retention rules.
  • Troubleshoot M365 application issues and coordinate with Microsoft support when needed.

Security & Compliance (Conditional Access + Intune)

  • Design, implement, and monitor Conditional Access Policies to enforce secure authentication and access control.
  • Manage Intune (MDM/MAM) policies for Windows, Android, and iOS devices — including device compliance, app protection, and remote wipe.
  • Ensure alignment of security configurations with organizational policies and compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the cybersecurity team for continuous monitoring of Microsoft Secure Score and remediation.
  • Implement MFA, sign-in risk-based policies, and location-based access restrictions.
  • Manage device lifecycle security — from onboarding to de-provisioning.

Governance, Monitoring & Reporting

  • Regularly review M365 audit logs, sign-in reports, and risk detections.
  • Generate monthly reports on user compliance, device health, and Conditional Access enforcement.
  • Drive improvement initiatives in collaboration with Network and Security teams.

Additional Required Skillsets :

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, and Conditional Access.
  • Experience with MFA, SSO, and Endpoint Protection policies.
  • Knowledge of Windows Autopilot, BitLocker, and device configuration profiles.
  • Hands-on with PowerShell scripting for automation and bulk operations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

Age Bracket: 28–35 years

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering (or equivalent experience).

- 5–8 years of experience in IT Infrastructure or End User Computing.

- Minimum 3 years managing Microsoft 365 environment and Intune.

- Microsoft Certifications preferred:

- MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator)

- MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator)

- SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator)

  • Reduction in non-compliant devices and risky sign-ins.
