  • Job Summary:

The
MMIS Technical Consultant (Maximo Tester)
is responsible for validating changes and enhancements in the
Maximo
application through comprehensive testing. The role involves executing functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure the reliability, performance, and accuracy of the Maximo system. The tester will collaborate closely with technical consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that all configurations, workflows, and integrations meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on Maximo application changes.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and issues through resolution.
  • Validate configurations, customizations, and integrations in Maximo.
  • Collaborate with developers and functional teams to understand requirements and test objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain test cases, scripts, and test data.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide post-release validation.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Maximo application testing.
  • Good understanding of Asset Management business processes.
  • Experience in functional and regression testing of Maximo modules.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  • Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).

Good To Have (Optional)

  • Experience with Maximo automation testing tools.
  • Knowledge of Maximo integrations with external systems.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
