Product Manager | Unit: Economic Times Business Verticals
About the role
ET Business Verticals - builds digital products and platforms serving communities of seasoned professionals and decision makers across 20+ industries.
We're looking for an energetic Product Manager with strong product instincts, customer discovery skills, and hands-on experience using AI tools and automation techniques to drive growth, improve workflows, and create delightful consumer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, hypothesis validation, design, and delivery for multiple product initiatives.
- Translate market trends, user insights and data into clear problem statements and actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with design to build effective workflows that optimise usability, adoption, and conversion.
- Use data and experimentation to validate ideas, refine user journeys, and measure impact.
- Build, fine-tune and leverage AI agents, automations, and AI tools for prototyping, content creation, drafting intelligent workflows and growth experiments.
- Balance user empathy with commercial understanding to deliver measurable results.
- Manage end to end product cycles independently with attention to detail - from defining problems to coordinating design, engineering, and launch, with limited supervision.
Who should apply (3 to 5 years of Core PM experience or equivalent):
- Ex-founders or PMs from B2B SaaS, D2C, or digital-first companies with proven 0→1 experience.
- Hands-on with AI tools or automation for product workflows, growth, or creative use cases.
- Strong design sense and ability to critique usability with attention to detail.
Skilled in structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making (SQL, Amplitude, GA or similar).
- Adept at identifying user pain points through interviews and behavioural insights.
- Notable side projects, significant intrapreneurial, or entrepreneurial initiatives in the past are highly valued.
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable experimenting with AI and emerging tech.
