
Territory Sales Manager

Sales & Business Development
- Achieve sales targets and revenue goals within the assigned territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across government, EPC, industrial, and commercial sectors.
- Support bids, and negotiations under the guidance of Regional Head.
Client & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely communication and problem resolution.
- Support local channel partners and distributors to generate business.
Territory Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute territory-level sales plans aligned with regional strategy.
- Maintain updated sales pipelines and provide accurate forecasting.
- Track competitors' activities and market trends in the territory.
Reporting & Coordination
- Provide regular updates to the Regional Head on sales performance, pipeline, and challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, finance, projects) for smooth order execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and documentation standards.
Revenue & Sales Metrics
- Achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
- Growth in new client acquisition in the territory.
- Order book conversion rates.
Client & Market Metrics
- Number of new accounts added per quarter.
- Retention and repeat business from territory clients.
- Customer satisfaction scores and resolution time for escalations.
Operational Metrics
- Timeliness of pipeline reporting and forecasting accuracy.
- Active participation in bids, and proposals.
- Execution of territory-level marketing/partner activities.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Environmental preferred).
- MBA is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience:
- 5–7 years of experience in sales or business development in B2B industrial sectors (infrastructure, water management, fire safety, or allied industries).
- Experience in handling EPC/industrial sales is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage local markets and work independently under guidance.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Process-oriented and detail-focused with strong follow-up discipline.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
