CrispIdea looking for a motivated and ambitious
Sales Development Representative
to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in expanding our client base.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring clientele in both B2B and in the B2C space. In the B2C space, the primary role will focus on building strong relationships with salaried professionals working in the technology field in Bangalore. In the B2B space, the primary role will be acquiring institutional clients (PE, VC, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Corporates) in the Equity Research space.

This role involves targeting potential clients through corporate channels, direct 1:1 outreach, email marketing, content marketing and leveraging social media platforms such as LinkedIn

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation:
    Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, strategic email campaigns, and social media outreach (primarily LinkedIn).
  • Prospecting:
    Conduct thorough research on target companies, industries, and key stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Outreach:
    Initiate engaging conversations with senior executives (CFOs, Heads of Investor Relations, etc.) to introduce CrispIdea's services, including equity research, investor relations programs, and roadshows.
  • Qualify Leads:
    Understand a prospect's business goals and determine if CrispIdea's solutions are a good fit.
  • Schedule Meetings:
    Secure qualified discovery meetings and appointments for our senior Account Executives.
  • CRM Management:
    Meticulously track all activities, update lead information, and manage pipelines in our CRM system.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies and execute targeted outbound campaigns.
  • Achieve Targets:
    Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a sales, business development, or lead generation role. Fresh graduates with a strong passion for sales and finance are welcome to apply.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; confident and articulate presenter.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and a resilient, positive attitude.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and establish professional relationships quickly.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • A keen interest in financial markets, equity research, and investor relations is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Lead squared, Salesforce, HubSpot) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
