Job Title: Inside Sales Specialist – Data & AI Solutions
Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive prospecting, lead qualification, and sales engagement for Data and AI products and services. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and collaborating with marketing, technical, and field sales teams to accelerate pipeline conversion and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Qualification:

Identify and engage potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and digital channels.

Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into actionable opportunities.

Maintain accurate and detailed records in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Sales Execution:

Present and demonstrate Data and AI solutions to prospective customers.

Understand customer needs, pain points, and data strategies to position the company's offerings effectively.

Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing smaller or mid-market deals.

Coordinate with field sales or solution architects for complex or enterprise-level engagements.

Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with marketing teams to refine campaigns and messaging based on customer feedback.

Partner with technical experts to ensure accurate solution design and proposal delivery.

Support Account or Sales managers in new business sales, contract renewal, cross sell and upsell activities.

Pipeline & Performance Management:

Support the sales team to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets (revenue, pipeline, conversion rates).

Should be proactive with good analytical thinking to improve sales and forecast future pipelines.

Stay up to date on Data and AI market developments, competitors, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field.

4–6 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in software, cloud, or AI/analytics solutions.

Strong understanding of data platforms (e.g., cloud data warehouses, AI tools, analytics software).

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation software.

Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business value for customers.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling SaaS, AI, or Data Analytics solutions.

Familiarity with major cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.

KPIs / Success Metrics:
Number of qualified opportunities created.

Sales revenue or quota attainment.

Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate.

Average deal size and sales cycle time.

Customer satisfaction and retention rate.
