Insurance Business Unit Head
to lead and scale their Insurance vertical.
Role Overview
Position:
Business Unit Head – Insurance (IT Services)
Reports To:
President, Global Sales
This is a senior leadership role responsible for
P&L ownership, revenue growth, client relationship management, and strategic expansion
of the Insurance BU.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive
multi-year business development goals
, revenue growth, and profitability for the Insurance BU. - Establish and execute
sales strategies, account management, and deal closures
for enterprise clients. - Cross-collaborate with other practices (Digital, Cloud, ADM, Enterprise Software, BPO, Products) to maximize client value.
- Act as a
hands-on leader
– maintain visibility on key accounts, negotiate contracts, and close major deals. - Build a
long-term strategic plan
for the Insurance vertical aligned with the company's growth vision. - Mentor and coach sales executives, set growth targets, and ensure sales enablement.
- Strengthen client partnerships, vendor alliances, and expand market footprint.
Qualifications & Competencies
- 15–20+ years of total experience
with a strong focus on
Global Insurance clients
.
- 5+ years
in client-level sales leadership with proven BU management.
- Must have handled
minimum $50M+ portfolio
.
- Proven track record of delivering
15–20% YoY revenue growth
.
- Deep understanding of the
global IT Services delivery model
with offshore leverage.
- Strong
CXO-level communication and relationship-building skills
.
- Strategic thinker with a strong point of view on the
future of the Insurance sector
.
- High-energy, growth-driven leader with the ability to inspire teams and impact BU direction.
Note:
Candidates
must come from IT Services organizations
with deep Insurance vertical experience. (Product companies/FinTech captives – not considered.)
