Job Title: Sales & Marketing Engineer
Location: Dabaspet, Karnataka
Experience Required: 2–3 years
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Sales & Marketing Engineer (Mechanical) to support business development activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on understanding of fabrication processes and engineering drawings, along with strong communication and sales skills. The role requires field visits, client interaction, and coordination with internal teams for execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Generate new business leads and expand the client base in relevant industries.
- Conduct client visits, understand requirements, propose solutions, and close sales.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and quotations.
- Maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
Technical / Project Coordination
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication details, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with production/fabrication teams for project feasibility and timely delivery.
- Track project status, address client concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Marketing & Reporting
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industrial events.
- Maintain detailed reports of client visits, follow-ups, and conversions.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical components, fabrication, and drawings.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and Hindi (knowledge of Kannada is an added advantage).
- Goal-driven, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Should be flexible to travel extensively as per sales requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Experience: 2–3 years in sales & marketing of industrial / mechanical / fabrication-related products.
- Should possess a two-wheeler or willing to travel frequently.
Compensation
- Salary: Based on current CTC and interview performance.
- Performance-based incentives.
- TA & DA provided for travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
