Description
Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for secured business loan products.
  • Source high-quality leads through direct channels, DSA/aggregators, connectors, and corporate partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer segments.
  • Drive branch-level business activities, events, and local marketing initiatives.
2. Team Management
  • Supervise and guide a team of Sales Officers / Relationship Managers.
  • Provide training on product knowledge, lead sourcing techniques, and credit guidelines.
  • Monitor team performance, set KPIs, and ensure productivity.
  • Conduct regular field visits and joint calls with team members.
3. Customer Relationship Management
  • Build strong relationships with SME clients, property owners, and key decision-makers.
  • Ensure seamless customer onboarding, documentation support, and post-sanction follow-ups.
  • Address customer grievances and ensure high service standards to improve NPS and referrals.
4. Credit & Risk Coordination
  • Ensure leads meet eligibility criteria and product policies before submitting to credit teams.
  • Work closely with credit, legal, technical, and operations teams to ensure smooth processing and disbursement.
  • Minimize TAT by proactively resolving documentation or compliance gaps.
  • Ensure portfolio quality with a focus on low delinquency and high customer retention.
5. Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, RBI regulations, and KYC/AML norms.
  • Maintain accurate MIS reports—lead funnel, conversions, channel performance, and team productivity.
  • Present business performance and market insights to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications & Skills Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Experience
  • 4–7 years of experience in secured lending products—LAP, SME secured loans, mortgage-backed loans, or commercial property loans.
  • Experience in leading small sales teams is preferred.
Skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of secured lending, documentation, and credit assessment.
  • Good network of DSAs, connectors, and SME market contacts.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Lead conversion ratio.
  • Portfolio quality and delinquency metrics.
  • TAT for login-to-sanction and sanction-to-disbursement.
  • Team productivity & retention.
