GM - Project Development - (South India)

AMPIN Energy Transition is looking for someone who can head project development for south India which includes Land and Permits. Identifying land, sorting permits for new and hybrid projects, conducting due diligence and ensuring the project is shovel-ready for construction take over.
How you will contribute:
1. Visiting new Identified potential sites majorly in south India for building pipeline and
development of hybrid projects.
2. Day to day coordination with various developers, partners.
3. Detailed due diligence and shortlisting of potential sites in terms of land, resource,
and evacuation.
4. Evaluating Land and regulatory policies of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh
5. Plan sites and completion of due diligence including preparation of applications,
finalization, submission and tracking the application. Coordination with different
government agencies related to applied permits and approvals.
6. Coordinate with local aggregator for land identification and acquisition.
7. Coordination with different government agencies related to applied permits and
approvals including KREDL, NREDCAP, TANGEDCO, and also for state connectivity
applications. .
8. Finalize terms, commercial and contracts for initial development. Identify potential
new vendors, developers, contractors for development and construction of project.
9. Plan and handover sites to the construction team with all initial approvals before the
start of the construction.
Ideal skills for this role include:
1. 12+ years of relevant experience in wind and solar industry
2. BTech / BE / MTech and well versed with Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh
state rules, regulations, and policies.
3. Fluency in Kannada and Telugu language.
