Key responsibilities for this position:

  1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  2. Develop and execute the hospitals IT strategy aligned with organisational goals.

  3. Lead digital transformation initiatives, including EHR/EMR implementation, telemedicine, and automation.
  4. Collaborate with leadership teams to identify technology-driven opportunities for improving patient care and operational efficiency.

  5. Prepare and manage annual IT budgets, forecasts.

  6. IT Infrastructure Management

  7. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure — servers, networks, data centers, and cloud environments.

  8. Ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance meet hospital requirements.

  9. Implement cybersecurity frameworks and data protection measures compliant with HIPAA / NABH / ISO standards.

  10. Application & Systems Management

  11. Manage hospital information systems (HIS), CRM, ERP) D365, SAP etc.

    HR system, HR application etc.

  12. Coordinate software upgrades, application integrations, and vendor relationships.

  13. Governance, Compliance & Security

  14. Ensure IT operations comply with healthcare data protection laws, accreditation standards, and internal policies.

  15. Establish and maintain data privacy, backup, and disaster recovery procedures.

  16. Conduct regular IT audits and vulnerability assessments.

  17. Team & Vendor Management

  18. Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff to maintain high performance and service levels.
  19. Manage third-party vendors, service contracts, and technology partners.

  20. Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements (SLAs) effectively.

  21. User Support & Training

  22. Ensure timely resolution of IT support requests from clinical and administrative departments.

  23. Promote technology adoption through user education and training programs.
  24. Maintain excellent communication between IT and hospital departments.
