About the Outlet

Premier Mega Hub is a newly opened, one of the largest Indian Oil petrol pumps in India, strategically located at Jorabat, Assam (opposite North East Cancer Hospital).

Built to handle both retail and commercial fueling at high volume, it features multiple fueling canopies for cars, trucks, and heavy vehicles, along with advanced facilities such as XTRAPOWER Fleet Card operations, driver rest and bathing areas, parking bays, and round-the-clock service.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive General Manager to lead the full operations of Premier Mega Hub. The ideal candidate should have a strong command over manpower management, fuel retail operations, safety standards, and financial controls. This is a leadership position requiring hands-on supervision and coordination across departments to ensure seamless daily functioning, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Overall Management: Supervise day-to-day functioning of both front and back canopies, ensuring efficient 24x7 operations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage canopy supervisors, cashiers, fueling attendants, marshals, and support staff. Conduct shift briefings and maintain discipline, efficiency, and morale.
  • Sales & Revenue: Monitor and drive daily fuel, lubricant, and fleet card sales. Plan strategies to improve throughput and profitability.
  • Financial Oversight: Ensure accurate handling of cash, credit sales, billing, and reconciliation reports in coordination with the accounts team.
  • Customer Service: Ensure courteous and efficient service to all retail and fleet customers; handle escalations effectively.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce Indian Oil operational and safety standards, conduct periodic checks, and maintain full audit readiness.
  • Infrastructure & Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of all forecourt equipment, lighting, canopy, and signage. Maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Reporting: Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and coordinate with IOCL officials and backend management teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in Business, Management, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in retail, logistics, or petroleum operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data reporting, and operational coordination.
  • Ability to handle large-scale, high-volume operations with integrity and precision.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate near Jorabat, Assam.
