Role Summary
We are seeking a
Majesco Policy SME
with deep technical expertise in policy lifecycle transactions, forms, and API-driven digital integrations. The Lead Developer will decompose work into sprint deliverables, lead technical design, and execute hands-on development across Policy, Forms, and Digital interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • 3 Amigos Sessions (20%):

  • Clarify policy lifecycle requirements with Product Owners and QA.

  • Provide technical input on forms management, rating, and digital portal integrations.

  • Translate business workflows into API and data contract specifications.

  • Work Management (20%):

  • Break epics into detailed technical tasks (API development, forms rules, digital integration touchpoints).

  • Create and maintain technical design documents, sequence diagrams, and integration mappings.

  • Assign tasks to team members and track execution against sprints.

  • Hands-on Development (60%):

  • Configure and extend Majesco Policy Admin for policy creation, endorsement, renewal, cancellation, reinstatement.

  • Develop and customize forms templates, rules, and compliance-driven outputs.
  • Build and extend Majesco APIs for Digital Portals, Agents, and Customer Self-Service.
  • Develop microservices and middleware components to integrate Policy APIs with external digital ecosystems.
  • Ensure security, performance, and scalability of API-driven solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, API contract validation, and end-to-end integration testing.

Technical Skills & Requirements

  • Expert-level Majesco Policy Administration knowledge (transactions, rating, underwriting, forms).
  • Strong in API development, consumption, and security models (REST, OAuth2, JWT).
  • Working knowledge of Digital Portal integration patterns (customer/agent portals, external apps).
  • Hands-on in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Hibernate, SQL/Oracle.
  • Proficiency in forms setup (DocGen, Jasper, or Majesco-native forms).
  • Strong debugging, logging, and error-handling design experience.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven).
  • Experience in Agile delivery and managing integration-heavy implementations.
