We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Commi III (Pizza Section) to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of kitchen experience who are eager to learn and grow in pizza-making and overall food production. The candidate will support senior chefs in preparation, assembly, and baking, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation & Mise en Place

  • Assist in preparing dough, sauces, cheese, toppings, and other pizza ingredients.
  • Portion and arrange ingredients for smooth and quick assembly.
  • Ensure prep stations are stocked, clean, and ready before service.

Pizza Assembly Assistance

  • Support senior commis/chefs in assembling pizzas as per standard recipes.
  • Lay out dough, spread sauces, arrange toppings, and prepare pizzas for baking.
  • Maintain consistency in portion size, topping distribution, and presentation.

Baking Support

  • Assist in operating pizza ovens under supervision.
  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure pizzas are cooked properly.
  • Learn oven handling, cleaning, and basic maintenance.

Hygiene & Safety

  • Follow kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
  • Keep workstation, tools, and storage areas clean during and after shifts.
  • Wear appropriate kitchen attire and maintain personal hygiene.

Learning & Development

  • Observe and learn advanced pizza-making techniques from senior chefs.
  • Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills.
  • Accept feedback positively and work on skill enhancement.

Teamwork & Support

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Provide assistance to other sections during peak hours.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and cooperative attitude.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 0 - 1 year in a professional kitchen (pizzeria experience preferred).
  • Freshers passionate about cooking and willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork skills, and eagerness to develop culinary expertise.
