Vigilance & Compliance Management

  • Develop, implement, and periodically update the Universitys vigilance policies, procedures, and compliance framework.
  • Monitor adherence to statutory, regulatory, and institutional guidelines across all departments.
  • Conduct regular vigilance inspections, audits, and reviews of financial, academic, and administrative processes.
  • Identify areas of potential risk and recommend preventive measures to strengthen internal controls.

Investigation & Enforcement

  • Receive, examine, and investigate complaints related to misconduct, malpractices, corruption, fraud, harassment, and violation of rules.
  • Ensure fair, confidential, and timely investigations maintaining due process.
  • Prepare investigation reports and submit recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor / competent authority.
  • Liaise with external authorities when required (legal, regulatory, audit).

Ethics, Integrity & Awareness

  • Promote a culture of ethics, values, and transparency across the University.
  • Develop awareness programmes, workshops, and training for faculty, staff, and students on vigilance, anti-corruption, and responsible conduct.
  • Facilitate grievance redressal mechanisms and ensure confidentiality of whistleblowers.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with statutory committees such as Anti-Ragging Committee, ICC, Audit Committee, and Disciplinary Committees wherever vigilance matters overlap.
  • Prepare periodic vigilance reports and present them to university leadership.
  • Advise management on policy improvements and long-term risk mitigation strategies.
