Key Accountabilities:
Sales Planning: Develop & execute sales plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals within the assigned region with clear milestones and timelines.
Sales Execution: Ensure excellent execution of the plans formulated, implementing corrective action plans as required. Developing new clients/channels and negotiating with them for securing profitable business. Ensure compliance with company policies. Travel extensively within the assigned region to meet channel partners & influencers. Address any conflicts or disputes that may arise between partners through effective conflict resolution processes.
Sales Performance: Set individual & team targets and monitor KPIs. Prepare and present sales performance reports and monthly forecasts. Create a sales performance improvement plan.
Trade Marketing: Ensure proper sales promotions and loyalty programs are executed in service of the sales and customer strategies. Collaborate with Marketing & Product teams to support product launches and promotions. Provide feedback to management on competition activities
Business Development: Drive business growth through the identification and penetration of new market segments to achieve objectives with a view to optimizing revenue. Use data to analyse and identify market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
Specifier Management: Creating existing product awareness & new product launch with end clients (Construction Companies, Builders) and Key Influencers (Dealers/Architects/Plumbers).
Client Relationship Management: Manage customer focused operations and ensure customer satisfaction by achieving delivery and quality of service standards. Build & maintain strong relationships with Key channel & business partners
Team Supervision & Development: Recruit, retain, monitor and motivate the manpower, ensuring quality deliverables in the market. Training & enablement of sales team and channel partners
Inventory Management: Preparation of monthly sales forecasts. Ensure regular and timely product movement and replenishment in inventory.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Graduate with degree in Business Management (MBA/PGDBM).
- Minimum 10 years of proven leadership experience in Channel Sales in Building Material, Construction, Hardware, Sanitary, Electrical industry handling large sales force.
- Excellent communication, negotiation & relationship building skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and drive results through channel partners.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
- Result oriented with track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
