Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations in a five-star hotel environment. The role focuses on delivering exceptional food quality, leading kitchen teams, and upholding CGH Earth's values of sustainability, authenticity, and guest-centric hospitality. Candidates should be willing to come to Kochi for a food trial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily kitchen operations across outlets and banquets
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff
- Maintain HACCP, food safety, and cleanliness standards
- Control food costs, inventory, and minimize wastage
- Ensure smooth service during high-volume operations and events
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management
- 8–10 years of experience in a five-star hotel or luxury resort
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of sustainable and regional cuisine preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment
