Essential Skills and Qualities:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: You should be able to build rapport quickly, understand client needs, and articulate the value proposition of your consultancy's services clearly and concisely.
- Strong sales skills: You'll need to effectively handle objections, overcome challenges, and close deals.
- Financial and business acumen: Familiarity with financial concepts and the rating industry is advantageous, especially for consultancies dealing with credit or product ratings.
- Data analysis and reporting skills: The ability to analyze client data and prepare reports highlighting the potential benefits of your consultancy's services is crucial.
- Tech-savviness: Proficiency in CRM systems and industry-specific software is expected.
- Resilience and persistence: Telesales often involve rejection, so a positive attitude and the ability to bounce back are vital.
