B. Job Objective

Job Purpose

The incumbent shall be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee development programs that enhance skills, performance, and overall organizational growth. This role will support the development of training initiatives and ensure that learning interventions align with the company's objectives and goals.

C. Primary Responsibilities

Strategic

  • Support the planning and execution of learning and development strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Support a culture of continuous learning by promoting training opportunities and employee development initiatives.

Finance

  • Help manage the L&D budget to ensure cost-effective and impactful training solutions.

  • Source and liaise with external training providers or consultants as necessary.

  • Enabler for enhancement of employee productivity.

  • Measures return on investment of training cost.

Process

  • Shall identify training needs across the organization through surveys, interviews, and feedback.

  • Help design and implement training programs .

  • Develop training content and materials (presentations, manuals, e-learning modules) to support various learning formats (in-person, virtual, blended learning).

  • Lead or facilitate training sessions as may be required, including workshops and seminars on soft skills, leadership, and other key areas.

  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, resource management, and participant communication.

  • Maintain a learning management system (LMS) and ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback surveys, performance metrics, and follow-up sessions.

  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve training processes and materials.

  • Provide reports to senior management on the impact of training programs on performance and productivity.

  • Research and stay up to date with the latest trends and innovations in learning and development to ensure the organization is utilizing best practices.

  • Recommend new tools, technologies, or strategies to enhance training effectiveness.

People

  • Closely works with internal employees / Managers to understand specific business needs and the training perspective.

D. Role Requirements / Specifications

Desired Qualifications

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related field. A Diploma in Learning and Development shall be preferred. 

Desired Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in learning and development, training.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies.

  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to assess training effectiveness and implement improvements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
