Head - Application Support FCR| Chennai

  1. To lead and manage the support, maintenance, and optimization of the bank's core banking applications and related systems.
  2. This role ensures uninterrupted banking operations, effective incident resolution, and strategic enhancements aligned with business goals. For Managing the Retail Module in Flexcube Core Banking System.
  3. Oversee daily CBS retail application Support of core banking systems and related modules and make sure incidents/Service requests are resolved witin TAT.
  4. Ensure smooth execution of EOD/B OD/EOM/EOY processes.
  5. Monitor system health, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure data accuracy.

Managerial Responsibilities:

  1. Provide First and second-level support for application-related issues of retail module.
  2. Collaborate with business/Operations users and IT helpdesk to resolve day-to-day issues.
  3. Liaise with external vendors for support, enhancements, and compliance.
  4. Negotiate service levels and manage vendor performance.
  5. Lead incident, change, and problem management processes.
  6. Lead and mentor the application support team.
  7. Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor performance.
  8. Conduct training sessions for users and internal teams.
  9. Drive to implement best practices.
  10. Coordinate with InfoSec and Technology teams for system hardening, penetration testing, and patch management.
  11. Maintain operational manuals and ensure regulatory compliance
  12. Drive service improvement reviews and ensure SLAs/OLAs are met.

Functional Responsibilities:

  1. Manage CASA, TD/RD, Standing Instruction, Remittance, Clearing, TDS, Interest applicaiton in Flexcube Retail module.
  2. Support for Month end, Quarter-end, & year end activities.
  3. Support DR drill execution as along with surround systems
  4. Support for enhancements and production support fixes.
  5. Support for VAPT mitigation and audit observations (internal, regulatory)

Qualification needed: MCA/ MTECH/ BTECH

Min Exp: 18 years

Max Exp: 20 years

15 years of experience in banking application support and IT operations.

Should be having minimum 8- 10 years of experience in Flexcube.

Should be having good knowledge in managing Retails modules for 5-8 years.

Experience in managing enterprise applications, digital channels, and UAT environments
