Job Description

Manager – Digital Project Delivery

Bangalore

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to oversee major Digital/Data Science projects in manufacturing.

In this strategic role, you will be accountable for ensuring successful project execution across multiple teams, managing client relationship. You will be a key player in shaping delivery strategies, mitigating risks, optimizing costs, and supporting business growth through innovation and delivery excellence.

You will report to Technical Director, Global Digital GCC follow a Hybrid working schedule in Bangalore

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in delivery and programme management practices.
• Oversee delivery of complex programmes, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and established quality standards. This includes managing programs involving OT-IT-ET convergence and facilitating integration among manufacturing systems, engineering platforms, and enterprise IT solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, other teams, and clients to establish agreement on programme objectives, milestones, and value outcomes.
• Support Delivery Excellence frameworks by implementing governance, metrics tracking, and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage risks, scope, and dependencies to enable mitigation and resolution.
• Use key performance indicators for measurement and reporting to facilitate data-driven decision making across delivery portfolios.
• Guide cross-functional teams, delivery managers, project leads, and team members in pursuit of project goals.
• Work with pre-sales and account teams to provide delivery knowledge and solutions that support business development.
• Perform regular health checks, audits, and retrospectives to maintain delivery sustainability and client satisfaction.
• Promote a working environment focused on excellence, responsibility, within delivery teams.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in Delivery Excellence and managing large-scale delivery engagements.
• Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, with the capability to customise approaches.
• Knowledgeable in budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and contract/SOW governance.
• Experienced in stakeholder management, client relationship management, and executive-level reporting.
• Experience leading cross-functional, distributed teams across multiple locations.
• Well-versed in quality management, risk management, and compliance frameworks.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

·       Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data science, machine learning, or AI roles.
• Foundation in statistics, ML algorithms, NLP, deep learning, or operations research.
• Hands-on expertise with Python (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy), R, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Experience working with big data frameworks like Spark, Hadoop, or cloud-native tools.
• Proficiency in deploying models into production environments (MLOps).
• Experience in solving complex business problems with data.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Exposure to multiple domains (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain, healthcare).
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Grafana
• Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, or recent advancements in deep learning.
• Project management or consulting experience with top-tier firms.
