Job PurposeThis position would be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logisticsoperations such as stores, transportation and supply chain processes maintaining theappropriate cost and time lines.2. Responsible for identification & evaluation of vendors for transportation services

To identify & evaluate transportation suiting Parag's requirements

Optimize total transportation cost by optimizing vehicle type, utilization, clubbed loadto drive transportation improvement initiatives across the country

Training calendar for transport vendor on processes

Ensure that all Transporter follow safety & Govt. norms

Responsible for measuring Transporter performances (Score cards) & design development programs

Benchmarking with IndustryImplement technology driven projects in TransportationExplore automation of processes in transportation.3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly (Spend for WH/Transportation) Target Achievement (%): Budgeted vs Actual & % to SalesValue addition / New initiatives: Yearly RFQ for Primary logistics & MoM data trackerlast Month /Quarter/Year Performance (%): Same day, Next day order processing with dispatches & Delivery TATProcess Efficiency (%): Warehouse optimization/route optimization/Route day adherence/Vehicle Utilization/WH Utilization.
