Job Title: Freight Logistics Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled logistics professional to manage and coordinate global freight operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading boardroom meetings with senior management and executives to discuss international trade opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present compelling import/export proposals to potential clients.
  • Cultivate strong consultation, facilitation, and coaching skills to address complex issues and resolve problems.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to ensure effective solutions are delivered.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, applying analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome logistical challenges.
  • Maintain and develop strategic relationships with shipping lines, logistics providers, and overseas partners.
  • Stay informed about market trends and business opportunities in various countries through ongoing communication with industry contacts.
  • Ensure timely sourcing of vessels and cargo capacity to meet customer requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of global logistics and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software.
  • Strong understanding of ISO compliance and quality assurance processes.
