We are seeking a highly driven professional to assume the role of an Area Business Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships in the freight transportation sector.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- 4-8 years of experience in sales and account management, preferably in the logistics or transport industry.
- Familiarity with the freight market and relationships between truckers, consignors, shippers, and brokers.
- Experience working with digital freight aggregation platforms is a plus.
- Strong understanding of local geography, culture, and market characteristics.
