Job Title: Global Trade Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Trade Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international trade, customs regulations, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage EXIM documentation, schemes such as EPCG, Advance Authorization, Duty Drawback, RoDTEP, etc.
  • Cultivate relationships with Customs DGFT Officials for imports, exports, DTA sales, etc.
  • Coordinate with PPC, Stores, Warehouse for daily arrivals and dispatches.
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports.
  • Negotiate freight with Freight Forwarders, CHA, Transporters, and ensure smooth customs clearance.
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns with relevant government agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records as per statutory requirements.
  • Support Stores and Warehouse activities.
  • Verify and clear invoices from service providers.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in International Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, or relevant field with a Certificate course in Foreign Trade (minimum 1 year full-time) or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of EXIM, DGFT, Customs matters.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar capacity in a reputable firm.
