Senior Engineer

">Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the execution of requests for HS code classification and screening of DU codes as per WTO guidelines.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing technical details, providing correct HS code classifications, understanding the logic behind GRI, screening parts for dual-use regulations, and daily reporting to service centers.

You will also be responsible for keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in global trade compliance, related legislations, and ensuring proper resource planning to deliver effective and efficient resource utilization.

Additionally, you will develop, improve, and deliver training to support the technical growth of the team, present updates on latest technology and knowledge gained, and drive change by leveraging new technology and innovations.

As a Senior Engineer, you will demonstrate excellent relationship skills, collaborate with customers, engage and manage related business teams, and foster a sense of urgency to implement a customer-focused organizational culture.

Experience:

  • Basics of mechanical and electrical engineering should be clear
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings, structure of bill of material, supplier's catalogs
  • Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook, MS Excel proficiency is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Decision-making aptitudes based on given guidelines and in ambiguous contexts
  • Must be comfortable working with large data sets
  • Very good knowledge and experience in internet navigation and research finding specific information about parts products in a timely manner

Education:

  • Highly preferred B.E. in Mechanical or Secondary options: Industrial Eng, Manufacturing, Automobile Education background
