Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage daily transportation activities, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Oversee fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, insurance, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage drivers and ground staff, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and addressing operational issues.
  • Coordinate vehicle arrangements for loading and unloading activities, optimizing route planning.
  • Track and analyze transportation costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Ensure all transportation activities comply with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Implement and manage transportation management systems (TMS) to improve operational efficiency (preferred).
  • Prepare reports and metrics to monitor KPIs and operational performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in transportation management, fleet supervision, and driver operations.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle insurance, loading/unloading protocols, and route planning.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency with transportation or fleet management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
