About Voorent

At Voorent, we are reimagining urban living in India. From short-term rental of furniture and appliances to selling furniture and providing interiors, we are building a complete ecosystem for modern living. We've already survived the toughest of times (including COVID where our revenue dropped by 90%) and have pivoted successfully into both B2B and B2C models. Now, we are gearing up to raise our next round of funding to fuel rapid growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Co-Founder with strong fundraising capabilities and investor networks who can join us at this exciting stage of our journey. The immediate priority will be to raise ₹3 Cr in seed funding and build relationships with angels, VCs, and family offices.

This role is equity-based and unpaid until fundraising is achieved. You will be a core member of the founding team, shaping strategy, scaling operations, and helping us build India's leading urban living company.

Responsibilities

1.Lead fundraising efforts by leveraging personal and professional investor networks.

2.Pitch Voorent to angel investors, VCs, and strategic partners.

3.Co-create investor decks, financial models, and fundraising strategies with the founding team.

4.Play an active role in strategic decision-making for growth, partnerships, and scaling.

5.Build trust with stakeholders and act as the face of the company in investor conversations.

6.Post-fundraising: contribute to business growth, partnerships, and market expansion.

What We're Looking For:

1.Proven experience in fundraising, investment banking, venture capital, or startup growth.

2.Strong personal network of angel investors, HNIs, family offices, or VC funds.

3.Entrepreneurial mindset with hunger to build a large, impactful business.

4.Ability to work with limited resources and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

5.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

6.Alignment with our mission of building India's urban living ecosystem.
