We are looking for Manual Tester
which involves 
creating and executing test plans
, 
identifying and documenting defects
 using bug tracking tools, and 
collaborating with development and product teams
 to ensure the software meets quality standards and user requirements. The role also requires performing 
regression testing
 to verify bug fixes and providing reports on testing progress and defect metrics.

Experience: 3 - 4 years

Location: Indore

Key responsibilities

  • Test case design and execution:
     Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to systematically test software functionality.
  • Defect management:
     Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring detailed records of steps to reproduce issues.
  • Collaboration:
     Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback on product design, and help resolve issues.
  • Regression testing:
     Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes have not negatively impacted existing functionality.
  • Reporting:
     Create detailed reports on test results, defect trends, and overall product quality to communicate status to the team and stakeholders.
  • Process improvement:
     Participate in team meetings, review processes, and provide input on how to improve the overall quality assurance process.
  • User experience feedback:
     Provide feedback on usability and user-friendliness to help improve the final product.

Required qualifications

  • Experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • A good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
