About the Role - We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester with at least 5 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, strong analytical skills, and a passion for identifying bugs and ensuring software quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyse requirements and prepare comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios to ensure thorough testing.
  • Execute manual tests on web, mobile, or desktop applications across multiple environments.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
  • Perform regression, functional, smoke, and system testing.
  • Work closely with developers to understand the system and resolve issues
  • Validate bug fixes and coordinate re-testing with the development team.
  • Prepare test reports and communicate test results and progress.
  • Contribute to improving the QA process and suggest enhancements to testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes.
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test documentation.
  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
