Role Summary: COO / Partner

Adara is building its next-generation leadership team. We're seeking a
Partner / Chief Operating Officer (COO)
who will take
end-to-end ownership
of multiple client and venture projects, drive business development, and strengthen our venture-building operations.

This is a
builder's role
, not a managerial one. You will work directly with the founding partners to
lead delivery
,
drive execution
, and
scale the consulting-plus-venture-building model
across sectors. Over time, this role may transition into
equity shareholding or partnership
within Adara Partners, based on performance and contribution.

You'll help shape a firm that combines
strategic depth with startup agility
—a place where you can both advise and build.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of assigned projects—from scoping to delivery and outcomes.
  • Translate strategic recommendations into operational roadmaps and measurable execution.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination between Adara, clients, and external collaborators.
  • Lead and mentor project teams; ensure quality, speed, and accountability.
  • Support
    business development
    —prepare proposals, lead client discussions, and strengthen key relationships.
  • Co-lead venture-building initiatives with Adara partners; identify and develop new opportunities in the ecosystem.
  • Oversee internal process excellence, knowledge management, and delivery frameworks.
  • Participate in firm-level leadership discussions and contribute to growth strategy.

Qualifications

  • MBA from a
    top-tier school
    (INSEAD, HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, Booth, ISB, IIMs) OR equivalent experience as
    founder, senior operator, or consulting leader
    .
  • 8–15 years
    of experience in consulting, venture building, startups, or investment firms.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with ownership mindset.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and execution discipline.
  • Entrepreneurial drive—thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building from the ground up.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
