Job Overview
The Agile Transformation Manager is responsible for leading and driving the organization's transition to agile ways of working across teams, departments, and business units. This role plays a critical part in fostering an agile culture, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment between agile practices and strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with deep knowledge of agile methodologies, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of guiding large-scale organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the organization's agile transformation strategy, roadmap, and execution plan.
Partner with senior leadership to align agile initiatives with corporate goals and KPIs.
Coach and mentor teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners to enhance agile maturity.
Establish and evolve frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or LeSS, depending on business needs.
Develop agile metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track progress and outcomes.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and transparency across the organization.
Facilitate cross-functional communication between product, engineering, operations, and business units.
Identify transformation barriers and implement solutions that improve delivery efficiency and adaptability.
Support talent development by providing agile training programs and workshops for teams at all levels.
Partner with HR, PMO, and IT to integrate agile principles into governance, budgeting, and performance management systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in project or program management, with at least 3+ years in agile transformation leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, XP) and frameworks.
Professional certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent are highly desirable.
Proven experience leading enterprise-wide change initiatives and driving measurable business impact.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
