Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of Sr. Manager IT Digital Transformation for a reputed company in the Kolkata location.

Education : BE/B.Tech/MCA or Master Degree in
related field

Reporting structure :

  • Reports to Head of the department
  • Manage of team of 4-6 individuals

Background & Experience

  • 7-10 years of work experience in automation tools preferably in FMCG
  • Hands-on experience of working with SharePoint, PowerApps, Data Analytics, Dashboarding, Python, Web development tool, Data integration, API and automation tools
  • Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions
  • Experience in managing SaaS based applications (i.e. Salesforce, HRMS, CRM, SRM, eProcurement etc), and master data preferably in FMCG sector

Skills, Abilities & Knowhow:

  • Deep understanding of automation tools, software development methodologies, programming languages and databases
  • Knowledge of working of automation tools
  • Understanding of different cloud platforms and scripting languages
  • Managing multiple stakeholders including vendors

Tasks & Accountabilities:

  • Plan, design and implement new automation solutions to minimize costs, generate revenues, improve productivity, facilitate data collection etc.
  • Ensure that the day-to-day operations of existing tools are running efficiently, and any issues are addressed promptly
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand opportunity areas, challenges in existing tools and support to address the gap
  • Manage relationship with vendors and co-ordinate to develop new features in existing tools, drive small changes and customization based on company requirement
  • Co-ordinate with third parties including scouting, time and cost negotiation, follow up on implementation, quality of deliverables etc for the development of automation solutions including scouting, time and cost negotiation, follow up on implementation, quality of deliverables etc
  • Responsible for tracking project actual costs and timelines vs budget, identifying variances to plan & developing appropriate mitigation plans
  • Managing integrations of automation solutions with existing systems
  • Ensure regular generation of reports to track adoption and co-ordinate with respective departments to drive adoption
  • Monitoring industry trends and identify opportunities for new solutions and enhancements to existing solutions
  • Providing training and support to end-users to ensure for effective utilization of automation tool
  • Ensure Master Data is maintained timely and is of good quality
