Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and result-driven
Admission Counselor
to join our EdTech team. The ideal candidate will guide students and working professionals in making informed decisions about their education and career paths. This role demands strong communication, persuasion, and problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel students/professionals about courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
  • Handle outbound calls, emails, and convert leads into successful admissions.
  • Understand learners' requirements and recommend suitable programs.
  • Provide complete details on courses, eligibility, admission process, and fee structure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and professionals.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions using CRM/Excel.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and academic teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
  • Working exposure with UK and US Clients directly regarding courses and universities

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Good organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable with phone calls, video counselling, and presentations.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office / CRM software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Prior experience in counseling, sales, or customer service (preferably in the EdTech/education industry).
