Location: Remote

Department: Quality Assurance / Software Testing

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Analyst (Manual Testing) to join our QA team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of software applications through manual testing methods. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand project requirements, functional specifications, and business needs.
  • Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing.
  • Identify, log, and track defects/bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, Mantis).
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure issues are resolved and quality standards are met.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide input on testability and potential risks.
  • Document and maintain clear, concise, and detailed test results and reports.
  • Ensure that software applications comply with defined standards and meet user expectations.
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support and client sign-off activities.
  • Continuously contribute to process improvements within QA practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years as a Manual Tester / QA Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, HP ALM).
  • Proficiency in bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Knowledge of SQL for basic database validation mongo db
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
  • Familiarity with performance testing concepts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
