Job Description We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst to join our remote team. As a Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive testing and analysis. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify defects, implement quality improvements, and enhance the overall user experience. Responsibilities - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate software applications. - Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify and resolve defects. - Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle. - Document test results, track defects, and communicate findings to the appropriate teams. - Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and quality assurance trends. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on software testing and analysis. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and QA tools. - Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit). - Proficiency in writing SQL queries and performing database testing. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. - Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. - Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus. - Ideal candidate should possess an excellent eye for detail, demonstrating meticulous attention to all aspects of software testing and analysis. - Proven leadership experience is essential; the candidate should have a track record of leading QA teams, providing training, and establishing effective testing processes. - Comprehensive understanding of the software development process, coupled with a keen appreciation for what constitutes a superior user experience. - Prior experience with funded startups is a plus, showcasing adaptability and a dynamic approach to quality assurance in innovative environments. - Candidates must know how to use API testing using Postman. - Candidate must have used BrowserStack or any similar tool for cross browser testing.
